From the bustling environment of the ophthalmology office where I work…

I discovered a profoundly effective tool for inner peace: Mindful Rewriting.

This isn’t just about coping with daily irritations and resentments — it’s a rather eye-opening journey in mindfulness and mental/behavioral health!

The Challenge: Overcoming Stress, Negativity, and Resentment in the Workplace

Allow me to set the scene:

INT. OPHTHALMOLOGY OFFICE — DAY

I am at my day job, doing diagnostic testing and presceenings for eye doctors, but I simply can not concentrate.

Why?

Blaming my inability to concentrate on a nearby coworker who WILL NOT STOP TALKING LOUDLY ABOUT WHAT SHE IS GOING TO HAVE FOR LUNCH!

In this case, the narrative in my head is negative, judgmental, and reactive. It’s also likely to escalate your emotions and create tension in the workplace.
